Whether Missouri resident or not, the driver of the watercraft, boat or PWC must be at least 14 years of age, to drive some rentals, 16 years of age.

In addition to the age requirement, if the driver was born AFTER January 1, 1984, they must have their boater certification card, renting or driving their own watercraft.
