12th Annual Osage Beach Fall Festival on September 8th

Heading into fall means plenty of fall festivals with delicious food, activities for the kids, and hot apple cider!

Osage Beach is hosting their 12th Annual Beach Fall Festival on Saturday, September 8th.

If you’re heading to the Lake of the Ozarks, this is a festival you need to check out!

Spray To Keep the Mosquitos Away

Bug bites can be a big annoyance when you’re on vacation!

If you’re coming to the Lake of the Ozarks this fall, be sure to bring a bottle of bug spray.

Just a few sprays and you’re good to go.

Here are some other tips to prevent bug bites when you’re at the lake:

  • Wear long sleeves in the evening and morning —  those pesky bugs like to bite at dawn and dusk!
  • Mosquitos like to linger over stagnant water — so be aware of your surroundings.
  • Again — Use that bug spray!
  • If you need to, stay indoor around dusk and dawn.

This wonderful family retreat resides in the middle of a subdivision on a dead end road – offer great privacy for any family retreat. The home is nestled in the trees and yet still takes in the great view of the water and main channel activity – 8 mile marker of the Osage and within the very desirable Buck Creek Cove. The home has a vaulted ceiling, oversized windows, balcony views of the shaded lot and provides guests with three spacious bedrooms, and two full baths.

This 1,900 sq. ft. vacation rental is available year around. The desirable features include central heating and air conditioning, cable TV, VCR, DVD, phone, ceiling fans, all bedding, dish towels, and an iron. The expansive kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, range, and refrigerator. Other inclusions are weekly trash service, open parking, and access to the laundry room from the kitchen area.

This beautiful property is just 25-30 minutes away from all the Action on the busy side of the Lake – Bagnell Dam, Lake Ozarks, and Osage Beach – via the community bridge.
