Have you been kissed by a fish?

One of the best things about this business is interacting with guests.  Last week, a guest e-mailed inquiring about vacationing at the Lake later this year.  At the bottom of his email he said his young son wanted to know if there were piranhas at the Lake.

I loved that comment because it made me remember my early days swimming in the Lake.Here’s what I said in reply.

And tell your son – no piranhas – especially in the pool! : ) I do remember as a child swimming in the Lake and having the baby Blue Gill tickle my toes. My great grandmother told me they were Fish Kisses! Made me laugh and jump right back in the water – then and always! : )

The 4 bedroom 2 bath property includes several desirable amenties for an vacationing guest: dock with swing and water toys, covered and open decks, a great 3 season sunroom, two living spaces and great surrounding landscaping throughout. And if you need a bit more room, rent the companion property – Blue Gill – that sleeps up to 4 more guests!

We have been coming down for the last 7 years as a family. We have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren. We found the place very accommodating. We did very well with the neighbors. Buy a styrofoam or other cooler and fill it with ice and chill the drinks before putting them into the fridge.

Instead of waiting overnight, your drinks will be cold and crisp in no time!
