Did you ever wonder what’s the best way to catch crappies at the Lake of the Ozarks?

According to Lake of the Ozarks fishing guide, Alfred Chapman, night is your best chance!

“This a great way to catch big crappies in the summer,” said Chapman, a guide from Lake Ozark, Mo. “When it starts to get hot, I’ll catch a lot more crappies at night than I will during the day.

“Sometimes we’ll be out here until 2 in the morning, catching fish.”

That’s how it was on a recent weeknight when Chapman and his two uncles fished in the late hours. By the time they were done, each had a limit of 15 crappies.
