What guests have said about staying about Jewell..

Our 4th year at the Jewell and we enjoy it more and more each year! Wonderful Couple and Repeat Customers Wentsville, MO October 2008

The villa has been a beautiful stay for a fall getaway. The area is nice and peaceful. We really enjoyed walking up and down the strip at the Dam. New Customers Foley, MO October 2008

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here at the Jewell. The cabin was clean and well furnished when we arrived. My favorite thing to do was to get comfortable on the porch swing with a root beer float, the Lake Sun Leader (great local newspaper) and our 2 dogs at my side – just watching the world go by … One week wasn’t long enough. Next time we’ll stay longer. The neighbors were friendly and the view was spectacular! Great Couple With Their Best Companions (already booked for 2 weeks on 2009) Brentwood, MO August 2008

“Quiet get away during the beautiful fall season.” We had a nice get away at the Jewell. Our family enjoyed the wonderful view. It was great to get away to the Ozarks one last time before winter. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Our children 12, 9 and 3 had a wonderful time fishing off the dock. The house was perfect size for our family. G & A M, Olathe, KS, October 2010

“A perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway.” My wife and I had a perfectly wonderful time at the “Jewell” cabin. Everything about the place was exactly what we were looking for. Jewell was secluded and quiet, yet close enough to tourist attractions, shopping, and dining. The beach area and docks were lovely, as was the lake view from the shady porch. In addition, we received excellent service from the rental agency. We’ll be back for sure. B & D, Reading, KS September 2010

Restaurants: What’s your favorite at the Lake of the Ozarks?

The great thing about staying at our properties is that they are equipped with kitchens to allow you to whip up a dish for your sweetheart or your family.

However, it is nice to have a night off from cooking.  Luckily, the Lake of the Ozarks has an array of dining options to fit your taste.  A few of our favorites are the Olive Branch Restaurant and The Duck — a gorgeous lakefront dining experience.

Whether you vacation at the lake or live there, what are some dining options that you would recommend? Write in the comments below!

Togethering in 2012

We couldn’t be more excited for this summer at the lake.

Spending some time away from work and daily grind is more than just escaping your usual day-to-day.  This video from Home Away Vacation shows exactly how we feel about taking a vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks.

This summer, make it about family.  Make it about memories that will last a lifetime.  We have several specials going on for a limited time, so don’t miss out on the chance to book a stay.

We look forward to seeing you and your family this summer!
